Membership Sign-up Form

There are three types of Membership to New London Local First (NLLF)/Thames Valley Sustainable Connections (TVSC) programs: Business, Community or Student. In order to be listed in our Business Directory, you must sign up as a Business Member at the Champion or Catalyst level.

All member categories are contributing to the TVSC economic and social resilience of Greater New London.

To join as a Business, you must meet the following criteria:

• The Business is privately held.
• The Business owners who have a controlling interest of more than 50% live in the Greater New London area.
• The Business can make independent decisions regarding the name and look of the business, business purchasing, practices and distribution, and pays all its own marketing, rent, and other business expenses.
• The Business is based locally, and has no corporate or national headquarters outside the state.

To join as a Bank, you must meet the following criteria:

• Lending decisions are made locally by officers with whom customers can build a relationship.
• Controlling interest of 50% or more is held within the state.
• The Bank can make independent decisions regarding the name and look of the business, business purchasing, practices and distribution, and pays all its own marketing, rent, and other business expenses.
  
• The Bank is based locally, and is headquartered within the state of Connecticut.
