Thames Valley Watershed

Thames Valley Watershed

Thames Valley Sustainable Connections is founded on the notion of natural alignment. In order for life, human or otherwise, to persist and thrive, it must align to those natural elements that provide life.  A fragile water, land and air system, collectively referred to as an ecosystem provides the means for prosperity. Understanding this and conforming human systems, such as our economic system to one of sustainability and development rather than pure extraction for growth is the way we embrace what is life giving and can afford the best means for generations.

The importance of our name should be mentioned. Thames Valley is a recognized “place”.  That place follows a watershed with a mouth at the Long Island Sound Estuary and streams and small rivers flowing north to south (just south) from Worcester, MA.
