TVSC Workshops and Learning Opporunties are presented by a variety of workshop facilitators. The method is simple: learning is a two-way process. The facilitator establishes the framework and works to engage participants. Many of these workshops are done as part of a community building activity.

Economic Assets in Northeast New London – A commerical view

This workshop will provide the results of a community and business asset mapping initiative. While the workshop will layout the results and hint at possibilities, it will be focused on a facilitated engagement of the community. The Asset Mapping will shine a light on all of the assets including natural, physical, social and institutional as well as the business/economic capacity of Northeast New London.

Following up on ideas collected from the September Workshop, we will explore specific ideas for the Park and the Neighborhood and begin plotting new uses
